Dagr was born in the bustling urban sprawl of Toronto, a city celebrated for its cultural and ethnic diversity. Our shirts are inspired by the city, its textures, its flavours, its colorful characters. Dagr fabrics are selected with an eye for style and quality, and our Canadian manufacturing is a defining characterstic of every Dagr shirt. Offshore production was never an option; we support our skilled local workers who offer a level of expertise that cannot be matched by low-cost foreign makers. As the brand was born and inspired in the city, it seemed only natural that the product be produced here as well.

Fabric

Sourced from the world’s most prestigious luxury mills, all Dagr fabrics are of the highest quality and exclusivity. Many of our shirts are limited-run items; once the style is sold out it will never be seen again, ensuring a special and unique garment to add to your wardrobe. Fine 120’s 2-ply cotton; stretch blends; novelty weaves; cool satin stripes; we see each shirt as a work of art, a unique expression of color and design. We’re constantly searching for innovative fabrications to bring you the latest in patterns and colors. From Northern Italy to the coast of Portugal, we scour the globe to bring our customers the world's finest in fashion and fabrications.

Quality

All Dagr shirts are produced in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Toronto. As one of Canada's few remaining shirt houses, we take pride in our domestic production and the skilled tailors that create each garment. Traditional tailoring techniques and high technology combine to create a product of exceptional quality; single-needle stitching creates clean, strong seams; 100% cotton linings for cuffs and collars help prevent shrinkage often associated with multiple washings; soft satin labels eliminate neck irritation; spun polyester threads are used on all buttons and button holes for added strength and durability; we’ve even developed a special yoke setting which sits higher on the back for added comfort and range of motion. Quality and creativity are the hallmarks of every Dagr shirt, from the most obvious to the most minute detail. Try one on and you’ll agree; you can feel the Dagr difference.

Fit

At Dagr, we recognize the importance of a shirt that fits right. We took a look at the competition and found many of todays designer brands just don’t fit; sure, they look good on a skin-and-bones European runway model, but what about the fashionable American man who appreciates a fine steak dinner now and then? The Dagr fit has been specifically designed to cater to our American clientele, one who wants a slim look but still appreciates room to breathe. Our form-flattering fits use mildly tapered arms to accentuate a slick, clean look and a slimming body shape to naturally enhance the masculine proportions between a mans shoulders and waistline. And since some guys like to tuck in during the day and hang loose at night, our body lengths and shaped hemline have been designed to look good and perform well no matter your fashion preference.
